How to spill a bunch of 4895 on the floor.

Tighten the Dillon Powder Measure down 1/2 an inch too high so it misses the recess cutout that holds it securely in place. Pull the handle. Powder Measure will shoot off and travel a couple feet before heading to the floor. Ask me how I know.

Steve, I once dumped a hopper full of powder out of a Lyman 55 powder measure by hitting it with my elbow. What a mess. After that I decided to get a throw rug to put on top of the carpet under my reloading bench.

This wouldn't have happened with a Lee measure. The hoppers are smaller too.

Oh, and turn in your CRB card if you don't re-use the power.

The dust bunnies shouldn't affect the burn rate.

Steve I have done the same thing, different powder, less flight time, less powder. Oh and I did reuse it.

I've never noticed that they effect my loads, from someone who's been there and done that at least once. SJ 40

If you have a small torch I can show you how to make a fast job out of clean up, even faster if you have an aerosol can of WD-40 handy.

PM me if you need instructions.
