Anyone Use PBR Ammo ?
Just wondering if anyone has tried this ammo. I ordered 15 boxes of 180GR.FMJ of their premium line today.Much to my surprise it was in stock and 40 boxes of 200 GR ,and the price was pretty good.

Probably not what you are looking for, but I tried the 12 oz version of
Pabst Blue Ribbon when I was younger. It was ok, but not the best
ammo for that time period.

I tested some it is nice stuff...
Parabellum Research PBR 200 FMJ
Ballistics Information: 10mm
Muzzle Velocity: 1250 fps
Muzzle Energy: 693 ft. lbs
Brass Make/Headstamp: Star Line - Brass
Bullet Make/Weight/Construction/Info; Length 0.6480"/Dia.0.400": Brass Jacket Montana Gold 200gr. FMJ
C.O.A.L.: 1.2545"
Case: Diameter 0.4215" Crimp Diameter 0.4205" Length 0.9895"
Primer: Brass color possibly Winchester
Powder Description/Positive ID/Type/Charge Weight: ?? (edited 5:10pm 11/21) 14.0 grains. The more I study this powder I don't think it is AA#9, I will go back an place a question mark on this one...why I just looked over another load which is AA#9 and did a better comparison and they are very sperical round and dark almost black in color.
PBR 200FMJ pull down
Tesed 11/29/2012 PBR-Parabellum Research 200 Gr. FMJ 1140 fps : Diameter 0.4270" primer slightly flatten

It could be A9.I doubt that this manufacturer has the resources to procure a proprietary powder so is likely a canister powder. I don't know of any other
The lots of A9 previously made in Belgium were very round and dull/dark. Also very tiny. The newer USA lots made by St. Marks in Florida have granules that are a bit flattened and a bit of a shimmer in the right light. Very tiny granules Lots of A9 have been made by different manufacturers over the years and have different looks.

Yep, when the target is brain cells and the liver -- but not the wallet -- PBR is the right ammo.

Thanks for the info.Sounds like a good company as they didn't raise the price like most did. $20.50 a box is not to bad sense everyone else is out of stock. I really need to start reloading
