A small victory for Vermont,S 32 withdrawn

A small victory for Vermont.

“It’s painfully clear to me now that little support exists in the Vermont Statehouse for this sort of bill,” Baruth, D-Chittenden, said in a written statement to the Burlington Free Press.

Referring to his S 32 bill to ban Semi Auto firearms.

If one doesn't think calls, letters and e mail have no affect, this is what happened in this case.

Baruth said he would not discuss the issue of withdrawing his bill beyond his written statement, an indication of the controversy his bill generated. The day he introduced the bill, he said he received a flood of emails from gun advocates.

So call ,write and e mail your representatives, let your voice be heard. SJ 40
