Just noticed something strange on G33.
OK guys, I know one of you can tell me the answer. I have a G33 with "EHRXXX US" I know this is several years old and I just noticed today that it had "US" after the serial number. and it is only on the metal tag on the lower frame, not on the barrel or slide. I don't believe Glock was making guns in the US that many years ago, Can someone tell me what this means?
Also my son has a G22 4th Gen that says Patent pending on the lower frame? Could this be a rare model?
Thanks,
Eli

All Glocks destined for the US market had the US added to the frame serial number plate until a few years ago when it was stopped, it means nothing legally speaking.

Glock discontinued using the US suffix at serial number FED000 and later.

Just a heads up - several of the E-series glocks were affected by a recall for the rear frame rails breaking. Had one sent back under the recall (though my rails never did break). Might wanna have a look to see if yours is affected by the recall.

It's not on my Gen 4 G19. It says "U.S. Pat. 8,156,677"
