I'm thinking a Rice bucket, an oatmeal bucket, a bean bucket, and then maybe a minute rice bucket...
Then repeat.
Any reason I need to take rice out of the plastic bag it comes in? I was gonna get smaller bag denominations. Extra secure, easier to load, barter able, etc...
And as a follow-up; The buckets are all part of my overall strategy:
#1 full pantry
#2 Canned goods backing up the pantry
#3 Buckets with staples
#4 Occasional weiss to mix with the bucket contents (Rice - meh, but Rice + Weiss meal or canned goods mixed in? AWESOME!
#5 Assorted MRE's, Mountain house, and garden.
Aceman: #10 cans are good too.
Best buy out there is from LDS. Check out their starter Kit (6 #10 cans for $31). Also good prices on separate cases of rice, wheat, flour and oats.

howdy, I would strongly urge you to consider new paint cans....I went the bucket route for years, but buckets dont stack as well and they aren't rodent proof
