Mine is awesome. More accurate than my 10/22. More fun. Good to practice the ar platform on a much quieter and cheaper weapon.

Its an awsome rifle, love mine.
Shoots well, after a few hundred rounds of mini-mags it runs on almost anything ammo wise, easy to shoot and great for just plinking around. If you have a AR its a great practice rifle and if you dont its fun as hell.
I know that the very first generation did have some feeding issues but that was taken care of very quickly, the only issue you will have is trying to find ammo and mags.

I've had one for a couple years, and just recently bought a second, no issues other than bad triggers, but new springs and a bit of polish takes care of that.

The 15-22 is the most fun shooting I have. You can shoot it all day long and not break the bank. Everyone loves to shoot it. This should be mandatory to own. The world would be a better place.

ISSUES?
What issues? Mine's run perfectly. Just make sure that you don't snag the extractor when cleaning the rifle.

My only issue is that I can't find bulk 22 right now. My AR 22 is the best rifle I have bought in years. I have about 8K rounds through mine, enough to wear out the feed lips on the original magazine. It runs with cheap ammo too.

Love, love, love mine. I agree... every gun owner should have one. Seriously. All the fun of an AR15 with none of the (expensive) guilt.
Just today, I took my dad to the range to fire my M&P 15-22 (among others). Dad loved the 15-22. Everybody that tries it, does.

To anyone who lives in the vicinity of Hoffman Estates, IL: Cabela's had a 15-22 on the display rack as of 12:00 pm (Noon) today. It wasn't readily visible because a Ruger 10/22 with a horrid aftermarket synthetic folding stock was blocking it.

Love mine. It's a great shooter. Very close clone of the AR control wise. Everything is the same.
I have the model with Magpul furniture and the threaded barrel. It's quiet as can be with my suppressor on it.

Don't mean to hijack this thread but I bought a 15-22 & the only problem I have is I bought one without the flash hider. I know it's only for looks but I really like the look. If I have the barrel threaded to accept an AR flash hider will it look right? Are the 15-22 flash hiders the same diameter? Besides that small issue I love mine. Shoots great & is accurate.

Yes, if you have i threaded 1/2x28 it will accept any AR flash hider or .22 suppressor.
