HST and Ranger 9mm

Morning Mas,

I realise that they are both good choices for carry ammo but I was having a discussion the other day with a neighbor and we both seemed to have the same opinion when comparing the two.

Given a free choice, both of us would choose to go with a Ranger +P or +P+(not standard) while we were more comfortable with the HST in standard presures (+P wouldn't hurt) to achieve good performance.

Is there any evidence to back up our unscientific views or are we full of it.....

Have a good one,

Scott

All test well in the lab. If you want 147 grain subsonic, the HST has done very well with a couple of police departments. I don't know of any who've used 124 grain +P HST long enough to establish a track record.

The 147 grain Ranger from Winchester has also pleased some large police departments who prefer heavy bullet subsonic 9mm.

I personally prefer 127 grain +P+ Ranger in a 9mm, which has an excellent track record coast to coast.

Your choice, bro.

best,
Mas
