Copsplus works out okay if they have what you need, but the last time I checked they were one of those companies that you cannot call...all they have is an email address and a fax line. That always makes me uneasy.
I've ordered a bunch of stuff from CopQuest over the years and have been happy. Same goes for Optics Planet, but I find that navigating the duty gear and holsters on their site is a bit cumbersome when trying to nail down a specific fit and finish. I would also trust Streichers and GT Distributors.
As far as Galls goes, they have become more competitive in some regards in the last couple years. The sitewide sales and shipping promotions often make their prices very competitive where they used to never really be that way. They also have a good system that pretty reliably tells you what is in stock and they ship quickly and update their order system with tracking numbers right away.

Quartermaster Uniforms is now owned by Galls. I've dealt with them before they were bought, though, with good results.

I bought from QM lots of times, and they are local so I actually drove there a few times to just shop retail. I also ended up having an account via the department for uniforms and went to their warehouse for bulk pickups and met their people there. Great team. Not sure who's left after that acquisition.
As for other places, I have been buying from ****** for just as long and they are also local but with free shipping and no tax, I just order online now and have them mail it to me in two days. Never had a problem in the last 7 years.
LAPG lost me when they held my order for two months without telling me a thing until I followed up and they said they were backordered on one item so they held the whole order until it can be complete... which is okay... but at least tell me so I don't think it didn't go through and buy elsewhere.
Other places I have bought from include Galls, which is expensive but has a huge selection. I used Streichers before and they have a smaller selection but they do have some gear you don't find elsewhere. Then there's always off places like Cabelas, SportsmansGuide, CTD, etc. I do recommend SPG when they have deals, they never done me wrong and their customer service is unbeatable.

If you plug them all into your email you will notice that the "sales" never end.
Seems to average about 15% constantly. The trick is figuring out who has the lowest markup. LAPG is great for closeouts.
I hate to mention it, but...
****** price matches everybody. Free shipping and sales tax for the most part.
Wow, I didn't realize that the filter took them out. They are in L.A. but aren't LAPG, you can do the research.

SKD Tactical has decent prices and every now and then they have a crazy deal of the day. Last one was Aimpoint CompM3 with mount for approx. $370 shipped. They don't carry boots but any kind of tactical stuff you may need you should check them out. Their philosophy is if you can order it then it is in stock and usually ships that day if you order by 1PM Eastern and $5 flat rate shipping. Nothing but great experience with them. They also have a fantastic return policy. check them out.

I'm a big fan of Chief Supply. Galls is good but expensive if not on sale.

Copquest is good for duty gear. If you need "other" stuff try out Lapolicegear.com but make sure they have it in stock.
