Gen 3 Blue Labels come with 3 mags unless they are the sub-compacts.

Classic Arms in Cordova TN had a Gen 4 Glock 22 in the case yesterday with a note on the tag that said it came with 2 mags.

I know it was new because he uses yellow tags to show used and white to show new and it had a white tag.

I wasn't interested in it so I didn't say anything, with all of the people buying guns now that usually don't he will probably sell it that way no problem.

I recently bought a G19 and a G23 at the local hardware store. The clerk announced proudly that the new Gen 4s came with 3 mags. Good to shop local here.

Sold to Law Enforcement and bunches of others at a discount price that are on a list that I don't have at the moment.

Red Label
Glock Refurbished. Possibly a Police trade in that has been gone through and refurbished and re-labeled by Glock and re-sold. Nothing wrong with it.

White Label
Factory Glocks sold at the regular price to civilians or those who are not on "the list" at full price.

Absolutelly not true.

Red Labels are guns that include mags that hold over 10 rounds. In a 10-rnd state you can get a White Label G17, otherwise civivians get a G17 with a Red Label.

They wanted 585.00 for it and I gave them 550.00 cash plus 10.00 for the BG check and 40.00 for two boxes of Winchester Ranger 180 gr FMJ

Looks like I may be calling Glock to find out. I wanted to shoot the damn thing today but I'm not going to if I may want to take it back. The bad thing is they have no more left and they said they have a two month wait to get more Glocks.

Moto, your Glock is fine. It's just like SARDG said, red label guns are still new, they just have hi-cap mags.

A very large gun store near me was once a Glock LE dealer and had a special room of blue label guns. They required ID before they would let you in there, but the price discount was well worth it. I bought several from these guys.

Found out soon after that they were taking their blue label guns (discounted from the factory, no federal excise tax) and putting them in the case for regular customers to buy at full retail. They quickly lost their partnership with Glock over that one.

Because someone stated earlier it was "refurbished". I asked the store owner before buying it if it was new and he said "yes". Now from what most members here are claiming it is not a refurb gun, which in that case I wouldn't take it back. I don't know where the earlier poster got his onfo about red labels being refurb guns but others are saying that IS NOT true. I hope they are right.

Your Glock is not a red box CPO (certified pre owned) Sig Sauer. This is exactly how information gets twisted on the Internet.

As far as I know all FFL's in Oregon charge ten bucks for it, or at least I have been charged at three different dealers so far.

Maybe his state has a fee? In MD all regulated firearms (think AWB + handguns) come with a $10 state police background check.
