what surplus weapons are you looking for? , gunsnammo Pat has all of the unsold Finn M39 left in the country , Simpson Collectors has those rare weapons including a very extensive Swiss rifle collection.

In addition to the names you mentioned I have bought stuff from Military Gun Supply (not sure if they still have any c&R stuff?) and also from Centerfire systems. Of course various sellers on gunbroker.

good question. I'm not sure what you're talking about.
edit, nevermind, using google i found what i think you're talking about...
http://www.gunsnammo.com/
looks like some regular guy selling m-39 finnish mosins from what he says is his personal collection or something and he has no ffl.
Not that there is necessarily anything wrong with a regular guy selling stuff from his own collection, what confuses me is the "FORMER INVENTORY OF A WHOLESALE COMPANY"
So I don't know if he worked for or ran or had ties to a company and bought some of these personally and now is selling them or what?
further edit, if you click on the "secure order page" link you find the SSL certificate expired 4 days ago. Perhaps an oversight on his part, but that makes me more leery.

I have bought from WGA.
"Pat" is a woman.
They may or may not have lost their FFL, and that may or may not be the reason she is selling the "collection".
I could be wrong...

It is my understanding, but I do not know for a fact that Pat's husband was a big-time CandR importer at one time and lost his FFL. I think that he transferred all his rifles to his wife, who now sells them as an individual. She sells them a few at a time to keep demand strong. Some of the purists have issues with some of the rifles she sells and accuse her of mixing and matching to create rare rifles. I don't know one way or the other. I have bought 3-4 M39 rifles from SOG over the years. Think they are about out of stock. All have been tremendous shooters, especially with handloaded 200 grain Sierra bullets and VV powder. Good luck.

as others has said Pat is a She
her husband back in the 80's bought almost the entire supply of Finnish M39's left in the Finnish Armory.
like 390ish & 427 mentioned he lost his FFL some time back and she now sells them in batches. when all of the M39 on the website sell out she puts up another batch. as for the rumors of tomfoolery in my opinion I think it was more to due with the Finns making M39 out of old and captured mosins so they are almost all mismatched to a degree. I ordered a M39 from Pat and it came with a 1895 Tula reciever and the bolt was a mismached from a Remington and Tula but all of the numbers matched I can't speak to today's prices but back then they were about $250
if you want you can google gunsnammo she has great reviews
