Remington model 7 or Kimber classic?

Need help deciding between the two. Going to be in 308.

OK, good choices (I won't mention the CZs). If you can get hands on I think the answer would be the one that feels best. I feel (yes IMO) that is s important as any difference between the two. If you are "mail ordering" as it were, I would go with the Remington on the grounds that there are more ways of "tuning" a Remington to fit the user.

This is all assuming the purpose is a hunting rifle. I could really drone on about how a good fit is more important than a 1/4" difference in group @ 100 yds in a hunting rifle.

I own the Kimber Classic 308 and I love it. It is by far the prettiest thing I own. The only other bold rifle I've owned was a Remington 700 and the Kimber MUCH better in the fit and finish department. The only thing that took some time getting used to was taking the gun off safe to unload. Apparently there are bunch of bolt action rifles that can't be unloaded with the safety in the safe position. Who knew
