Congrats on finding a good used one. I've given up.
Down here in NC they've been getting $150 over list before Sandy Hook. I e-mailed S&W about it and they said they were aware of dealers selling that high and were not pleased about it. No way would I pay that for one. I purchased a LC9,did the Galloway trigger mods, threw the mag safety in the trash and have not regretted it. I'm sure it's a good gun but for $700 I can buy quite a bit more for the money.

I got a 9mm shield yesterday. A friend of mine was on vacation and went into Alexander's in Blairsville GA and they had them in stock. I paid MSRP plus overnight shipping and tax. Total was $506.49. Put 150 rounds through it about 4 hours ago. Had 1 failure to fire but I think the slide didn't go into battery fully. Other than that it was fine. I need to shoot it more and test the slide issue. I did like it a lot, shot much better with the 8 rd magazine. The guy I spoke to Lee said they have about 20 in stock as of yesterday. I paid via credit card and everything went smooth. The store's info is below if anyone is looking for one. Good luck!

You the man! Went up today and bought one $449. Lee said they had 31 on Jan 30th, down to 5. It helps they are in the mountains 2 hours from Atlanta

I got a e-mail today. The magazines are in the mail.

Now I just have to get my friends to shoot the gun again, maybe Sunday.

This morning, again my therapist (she's a shooter) told me don't shoot anything bigger than a 22.

I wish I could find one. I'd carry it in my pocket instead of the LCR that sits in there now.

I will own one.

It's the same size as the XD-S, which I also have in my carry rotation, too.

Congrats on the new addition!
Awesome photo! You have great taste my friend. If you had a sunwayman V11r in there it would mirror my vision of a nigh perfect edc setup. Both the paramilitary 2 and shield is on on deck for my next purchase after the foliage green G10 dragonfly 2.

What model p-m is that and what kind of light do you carry? If you need some suggestions on a light I'd be happy to help.

OP, the sheild is probably one of the very bests carry guns on the market today. What a great find, congrats.

The girls came over to shoot Saturday. One shot the Shield again and again she did very well with it. Now she definitely want's one.

For the heck of it I wore it all day in a FIST Glock 26 belt holster, that I had for a G26 and 33.
The holster fits the Shield almost perfect and before the day was over I forgot I had the gun on.

When I took the girls to lunch I told them, here's the deal,
if we need the Shield I'll raise my shirt and one of you will have to grab the gun and use it because my right arm is too weak to pull the gun out of the holster.
Now I know how the gun bearers felt in the old Tarzan movies.

I got the two extra magazines today.
