I like the treatment at the very bottom of the backstrap how its beveled looking. Nice touch for a carry gun. Aluminum or steel frame?

Just ran a few boxes through the gun at lunch and noticed 2 things. First is that the gun fires beautifully, no hicups at all. 50 rnds of Remington ball and 50 of Remington hollows. Everything fed great!
Second is that a compact 1911 is a beastly little guy. Nothign horrible inregards to recoil but makes you realy appreciate the checkering.

I need to get this out for some more fun just finding ammo around here is a pain in the A.

The quality is just far superior to every other handgun I have owned so it is hard to understand.

I have handguns, shotguns, "assualt" rifle, and supressors so for me it was QUALITY 1911 TIME!! In fact I'm even contemplating selling of the AR I never shoot for another 1911maybe the Dan Wesson Specialist or a Valor. Oh and when you "know" people sometimes you can pay less than retail. I can get good deals on CZ's too, sometimes it pays to know people in Kansas City!
Well I hope you are happy! Now you have me wanting to save for a 1911. Possibly this summer if ammo becomes available.... now any suggestions for a first timers 1911 make and model that in all probability only be shot occasionally?
