I'm surprised no one has posted yet.

These are the types of gun that appeal to me nowadays.
You've built a very nice example.

Put in a long trigger and I would dig it.

Just my style - unless you have gorilla hand short triggers are better- anyone regardless of hand size can handle the gun which is not the case with long triggers. And here in the north I have gloves on often in winter. Shooting with gloves on is good practice and the short trigger makes this much easier.
While deployed in the military gloves are worn for protection regardless of season and I noticed the first pics of the marsoc colt showed a short trigger which makes a lot more sense than the long trigger shown on later models

Love those short Harrison triggers! I think my favorite 1911 is my
recently acquired Colt, just enough modern touches with all the classic lines.
Sometimes, simple is just better,........

It's one of ten from Colt's Custom Shop. It's a 1911 Enthusiasts Edition
Wounded Warrior project. A percentage of each went to WW.
I did replace the solid, long trigger with the short Harrison.

Looks great FLIPPER, never tried a short trigger although I have fairly good sized hands.
