Oops,......missed the "and lower parts kit" part of the op's post.
With that being said, I would not buy a LPK from Palmetto.

Any specific reason why?

There are a ton of reasons, lack of quality & piss poor customer service are at the top of the list.

I picked up a spare lower parts kit and two D&H mags for $60. Needed the mags and wanted a spare kit on hand. I have a PSA LPK with a ACT trigger in an AR and everything works well.

I just picked up a stripped lower, Magpul MOE LBK & 15 PMags for $350. At $10 a mag I got a complete lower for $200.

That's a smoking deal. I've built three or four guns using PSA parts kits and they have been as good as any other parts kit I've used. Hell...all the makers source their parts from a couple of vendors. Its not like Colt is making their own trigger or sears.

Their LPK's seem to be good quality, but don't be surprised if it's missing a part.

I did order a LPK from them and the bolt catch roll pin was missing. I called PSA customer service and they overnighted me one.

That is an awesome deal. I bet the people who were paying $60-80 per Pmag a few months ago are feeling real good right about now.

My LPK from Psa is excellent quality. The trigger is up to par with my geissele tuned ACT trigger.

I've been on their alerts for quite a while and have been able to control myself except for big bulk ammo purchases until they had their pistol upper on sale with the YHM Diamond rail for 4 bills... couldn't pass that up, even if it didn't have a BCG. They did ship when promised and it arrived on time as promised, so no complaints there.

Now I am looking to buy more stuff... oh boy... the accountant won't be happy about this....

I've probably ordered from PSA 6 or 8 times in the last year with no problems whatsoever. Shipping could have been a day or two faster, but I knew that going in.

My father had serious issues with PSA after ordering an LPK that was missing parts, and it taking 3 attempts through PSA's customer service before they finally sent him the right damn parts.

The only PSA upper I have order had accuracy issues, a canted A-frame, and was assembled with motor oil instead of anti-seize.

I don't doubt they have plenty of satisfied customers, but they have also had plenty of dissatisfied ones.
