Your sentiments are unadulterated evil.

Simply quit subsidizing bad behavior. No social safety net.

You left out the second SCOTUS case, Skinner V Oklahoma (1942), where; the "majority opinion, written by Justice William O. Douglas, rejects the broad eugenic mandate previously outlined in Buck v. Bell".

In the Skinner V Oklahoma opinion the justices stated, among other things, the following....

"The power to sterilize, if exercised, may have subtle, far-reaching and devastating effects. In evil or reckless hands, it can cause races or types which are inimical to the dominant group to wither and disappear. There is no redemption for the individual whom the law touches. Any experiment which the State conducts is to his irreparable injury. He is forever deprived of a basic liberty. We mention these matters not to reexamine the scope of the police power of the States. We advert to them merely in emphasis of our view that strict scrutiny of the classification which a State makes in a sterilization law is essential, lest unwittingly, or otherwise, invidious discriminations are made against groups or types of individuals in violation of the constitutional guaranty of just and equal laws."

No thanks. That's what's wrong right now. What Eastern European country are you speaking of? Sounds like East Germany or someone under Soviet rule, doesn't seem in our best interest to make America even more of a police state than it already is.

Apparently so.

It perplexes me how many gun owners are authoritarians.

Just doesn't make sense.

Break up all organizations considered "two big to fail" - especially banks and media conglomerates.

Train and equip law enforcement like regular army. Can you say "Homeland Security"?

I'd make the politicans live by the laws they pass. No more of this "except members of congress"

Hey look, A FACT! Something all other posts in response to mine lacked. Did I induce an injection of conscienable intelligence?

To be serious, I was not aware of that later SCOTUS ruling. My Business Law text book never discussed it. Now knowing what you posted, my opinion will have to be changed.

THAT'S how those 'old, dead, white guys' in Philly meant it to be and that's how it was.

Was until congresscritters decided they would rather RULE than represent constituents.

Exercise: Name one other *part-time public servant group* which sets its own wages, benefits, and job description.

My dad says the same thing. I don't really think it would matter very much in the grand scheme.

I would make service congress or the senate like jury duty except room and board is as well as minimum wage. Room in a dormitory, single occupancy, hotel room like. Term limits of course.

BTW, this website give a list of the 20 most common felonies (2009 data).
http://felonyguide.com/List-of-felon...s.php?cmpage=2

Per your criteria, there would have been a one year total of over 10 million immediate public executions in a population of 309 million people. About 1 in 30. Morality aside, good luck with that. This is not an unarmed populous like Eastern Europe.
Hey, Engineer, what I wrote is satire. I thought most folks here could figure that out.

Sorry man. I think I started the dog pile

Lots of big government law and order conservatives around here who DO believe that.
