New girl from Scotland
Hi all, another Glock nut here. First fell in love with them whilst living in MS. I am originally from the west of Scotland (near Glasgow) though I have spent a lot of time in the US. I now live near the Costa Del Sol in the Málaga province of Andalucía in the subtropical south of Spain.
I have been raised with guns through my dad who was an avid gun enthusiast and hunter. I continue to shoot and now bow hunt here in Spain. I also represent a hunting company in The Netherlands as their events team traveling throughout countries in Europe giving seminars and workshops to gun hunters and people who are interested in learning the art of bow hunting. I am now in the process of buying a G19 (with green)
It's nice to be here!
Take it easy

Welcome.
I grew up among migrant farm workers from Mexico, and unfortunately the only Spanish I know would either get my face slapped or my butt kicked.

A big "HELLO" from South Carolina, lass.
I spent a lot of time along the Costa del Sol in 1997-99, flying to Malaga from Madrid and then driving to Sotogrande (a lovely drive down the Med coast), and worked in San Roque. Some of the prettiest landscape in the world.
Must confess, though, I NEVER saw a firearm except on the Federales. I never knew it was even legal there to own firearms.
Welcome to our 'hangout' here at GT. Lovely to have you aboard.

Hi there, I am close to Málaga about 1 hour by car. Plenty of people have firearms here from semi auto, pistols, hunting guns.
Glad you enjoyed it here

Do you know anyone in East Kilbride? I worked for a company that had a plant there. I was lucky enough to visit your home country a few times. Loved it and the people...
Cheers

Cool. Does Spain have mostly national or mostly regional gun laws?
Different US states have big differences in gun laws. My state has just become the worst.

I joined the NRA, have you yet?

Spain has national gun laws, when it comes to that but hunting licenses and the rest is regional. I know of the states gun laws, MS is one of the most "gun friendly" in my opinion, well it was when I lived there.

MS still is gun friendly. They just passed a new law that if you get NRA approved training most of the place off limits are no longer off limits to carry concealed. Where in MS did you live?
