Excellent condition is normally $600ish

Is it 45ACP?

Many who have a P220 tend to like it and suggest it is one of their more enjoyable and accurate pistols. Around here much less than $600 starts to be in the very good deal / get it even if you have another range.

I've never heard of an Italian assembled SiG...something doesn't compute here...

600-ish sounds about right if it's in decent shape.

I'm a die hard 1911 fan but I still dig the Sig. Mine is the German made, folded carbon steel slide version with dual roll pin breech block retainer. I have never been able to get it to malfunction through approximately 2k rounds.

The only downside I've heard on this model is the slide finish isn't quite up to the durability standards of other models, and general handling wear begins to show up fairly quickly.

I have not seen the gun he just said it was a stainless slide and stainless frame that was all black. And he had it appraised at $1300 with no box or paperwork.

I really like my WG P220. It was an LE trade-in, with an old Hogue rubber grip and dead night sights. Ordered up some new springs, slim grips, and SIGlites from the mothership, and it cleaned up really nicely.

It is a great shooter, and I would highly recommend picking one up if it's still available.

Stainless frame? Maybe a nitron coated P220 ST with a frame made in Germany, and field stripped by a fat Italian in New Jersey.
