As stated...right now the SA BCG's are going for $250+. I just picked up a PSA upper for $500. Fortunately I didn't need the BCG. FA BCG put's you right in the ball park. Sadly the prices have gotten out of control. I was in the middle of a build when the CT incident took place...so I paid for the upper. Not a great price...but not terrible. A majority of the ammo I shoot is 55 gr. anyhow...but the 1:7 twist "eliminates" the aforementioned/potential issue on the heavier grain ammo.

Railed Free float M4 upper:
Barrel: 16" Chrome-lined, chrome moly vanadium. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, with a 1/7 twist, M4 barrel extension, and a carbine-length gas system. The M4 profile barrel is high pressure tested and magnetic particle inspected and then phosphate coated to mil-specs. Barrel is finished off with a Midwest Industries SS12G2 12" free-float rail, low-profile gas block and an A2 flash hider.

Upper: Forged 7075-T6 Flat top AR upper is hard coat anodized black for durability. Featuring M4 feedramp cuts, T-marks, these upper upper receivers are made for us right here in the USA.
Each upper is assembled to order with US-made parts, and test fired to check gas function. Does not include bolt carrier group or charging handle.



They do have one upper in stock at the moment...but for a bit more money...still no BCG or CH.

I bought this from arfcom store a few weeks ago. i haven't gotten around to putting an optic on it, but so far it looks good. fit and finish is nice. was $638 with BCG and FH pinned and welded (got the 14.5" version).



it's gonna sit in the safe till late spring when i finally get around to finishing it up.

it is a 1:9 barrel and I only plan on shooting 55gr xm193 out of it so that's no big deal.

i remember the good old days (2011-summer2012) of low PSA prices where complete uppers were cheap. in fact, my first complete rifle kit from psa was less than $700 and a $50 PSA lower.
