I bought this from arfcom store a few weeks ago. i haven't gotten around to putting an optic on it, but so far it looks good. fit and finish is nice. was $638 with BCG and FH pinned and welded (got the 14.5" version).
it's gonna sit in the safe till late spring when i finally get around to finishing it up.
it is a 1:9 barrel and I only plan on shooting 55gr xm193 out of it so that's no big deal.
from the website:
AR15.com Complete Forged Upper comes with:
Forward Assist Assembly
Dust Cover Assembly
Free-float Quad Rail, 9" with end cap
Choice of barrel lengths and profiles (1/9" twist, nitrided inside/out)
Carbine-length gas tube
Choice of muzzle device

Low-Pro Gas block
Complete Semi-auto Phosphated Bolt Carrier Assembly
Uppers are assembled, barrels dimpled for gas block, and muzzle device pinned/welded if requested.
my sbr is 1:7 for shooting heavier bullets.

i remember the good old days (2011-summer2012) of low PSA prices where complete uppers were cheap. in fact, my first complete rifle kit from psa was less than $700 and a $50 PSA lower.
