Back in a new G27!
Like an idiot, I traded my Glock 27 a couple weeks ago for a Springfield XD Sub Compact. I really loved the way the XD felt in my hand. However, I wish I had tried it out before shaking hands and trading the G27 away. I could not stand how the XD shot and I was much more accurate with my Glock. I knew I had to get back into a G27 and even offered to buy my old one back. However, my friend really liked it and we shook on it so I just decided to live with the XD until I could move it. I advertised the XD on a local gun trading website and sold it yesterday.
Went to the LGS today and bought a new "Blue Label", Generation 4 G27 and had them install Trijicon night sights. Pistol has a "UAR" serial # prefix with a test fire date of 2-28-2013.
I got lucky and was able to sell the XD for enough to almost pay for the Glock. Wound up costing me $35 "out of pocket" for a dumb mistake. I should have known better than to get rid of a good shooting firearm but I really liked the way that XD felt.

Congrats! While I love my XD series guns, the one I had to part with pretty quickly was my XD40SC. Felt like I was hold a 2x4 block in my hand.

Stand by. The 9mm FanBoys will be along shortly to describe the wrist-breaking recoil of the hideous G27.
Ugh.

You never would have been fully satisfied with your 27 had you not sold it for another gun and only then, realized you made a mistake. Should be worth the 35 bucks.it cost

I love my G26 so much I just sold my G19 to buy a new Sig for my
Wife because it was a safe queen.
That said I think I want to add a G27 to the fold soon.

Never a good idea to sell a G19 to finance another pistol.
Just my opinion.

Don't know about all of that. While I really like my 26, both of them, I also like the 27's and would love to add one to the fold. I haven't shot a 27 yet but I can't imagine not liking it. I would expect it to have more recoil. But, I'd also expect it to pack a bigger punch as well.

I just about sold my G27, but I came to my senses and called it off. I did, however, sell my G23, but I haven't missed it.

The G27 is my carry gun. Never leave home without it. It get's locked in the gun locker when on duty and is replaced with a G22. Great little gun, wouldn't trade it for anything.
