I just bought a new G17 3rd gen today. When I got home I dissassembled the pistol and gave it a little cleaning and lube. I noticed on the inside of the slide where the barrel hood rubs seems the finish on the slide is pretty thin. You can already see where some of the finish is missing. More so then ive noticed before on new glocks. I have had my share of glocks so i'm not a newby. Wondering is glock doing something different?

just like anything now adays time is money, so instead of 2 cotes now were only getting 1.
