One less reloading component (LPP) to look for and stock up on. Don't have to change primer systems out. More efficient round (about one grain of powder less per round for same velocity). Easier to reload, less chance of double charge due to smaller case. I get to keep all my 45 dies, molds and sizers,

Plus, on top of that, I shoot my GAPs better than my ACP guns, Now might be the time to unload them for good money, I don't shoot them any more.

Keep on shooting the GAP and buying ammunition components.

I just got into shooting the GAP about 6 months ago. Awesome round. I have 2 G37's and I just bought a factory rebuilt G38 in OD off gunbroker. Pick it up from my FFL next week. I can't wait.

I think you'll like it.

G38 is my favorite gap, followed by 39 & 37. It's really got a slide mass perfect, at least for 200gr gold dots.

I have a G37 and a lot of ammo for it.I like the G17 sized grip. I can buy Magtech FMJ and Speer HP all day long here for the same price(or nearly) as ACP.
I'm hoping Glock will make a Gen 4 G38. I don't know why but my 37 has the best trigger of any of my Glocks.

I'm covered, bought before the current shortage.

Could acquire some GAP if I had to:

Thanks. I don't see too many OD G38s so I had to grab it. Going to shoot it tomorrow for the first time. Looking forward to it.

I'm going to make some calls and see if I can't have a barrel or two made chambered in GAP for a 21 and a 36. It would be a nice option for times like these and you'd probably make your money back if you sold it with the gun. I get as many drop in barrels in other calibers as I can, mostly with Glocks since they're fairly inexpensive and very easy to come by.

Bet most places that have 400 corbon, 40Super etc. on hand have had it for a while and it's still there today. Even in times like these.

Yeh they've become very scarce. Wish I got one from CDNN when they were $389.

Enjoy.

I have been on the fence about the .45 gap ,but I love the g17/22 grip.My 21 is just to blocky, so the idea of the gap still is there for me.However I have three gunshops near me and there was 1 gunshow since Jan and the three shops have had zero ammo and the show only had Jhps for $50.00 a box

Ask the gun shops to carry it. Never come across that said they wouldn't.
Easy to find online too.

I have asked and they said they only carry it in small amounts because there's no demand around here.
Rumor is the PA state police are going to give up on the .45gap and go back to .40.

I wonder why PA would do that?

Templar Custom Arms(http://www.templarcustomarms.com/) has factory ammo, reloads and brass in stock.

They also have a G37.

Not sure on pricing.

.45 GAP ammo

Ammoman.com had a few cases of 1000rnds left. The 185gr stuff at just over 1000fps I believe.

That just might be better ballistics than the ACP.
