How can the 1911's stand the Glock?

I usually carry all my range stuff in an MTM case made specially for range trips. I have this though for by Bullseye stuff.

1911 Forums

This is just a small one. It's a Strong brand aluminum three gun bullseye box. The try pulls out and will hold three guns without letting them touch. The lid secures on the open position so you can use it as a scope stand.

Very nice Jason. It's Academy's house brand (Tactical Solutions). And the Glock gets along fine with the 1911's. She was my first and will always be there. I guess you could say I'm a Glock guy with a 1911 collection! ( there's 1 more in the safe.)

Thanks.
I really dig those soft pistol and mag holders. I have a couple around here that aren't as big or as nice as yours.

That's good do know they get along. Mine never seemed to care either.

Some days I wish I could go to the range with the minimum amount of stuff. You find you need this, that, and this again. Before you know it you are toting 25 pounds of junk just to shoot a pistol.

Rifles were even worse. You still have the same junk, but in addition you have a large scope and stand for it, and a large 200 yard target stand.

I really miss the days when I was a kid. All I need was my gun, ammo, glasses, and ear plugs. Such a simple time.

I have a Glock 21 and a Glock 30, both Gen 3, and 4 1911's. They get along just fine. I will say tho, the Glocks get left behind most of the time...

25 lbs? I wish mine was that light. 4 guns, 20 full mags, extra ammo, glasses, muffs, tools etc. bet mine is closer to 35 or 40. Pita to carry

I have never stocked it to the gills. I try to limit even the amount of guns carried. I don't think I have ever had more than two guns in it for a match and 100 rounds of ammo per. I have yet to shoot a match with the NRA that I needed three guns, but then again the Bullseye stuff is pretty new to me. I have only done it for the last three years or so.

For the .45 I usually only carry three magazines, same for a .22.

I have given thought to one of those little range carts you see so many people hauling gear in. I can't really complain much though.

I have one of those Highpower stools with wheels and a handle for moving your gear. I used to load that sucker down so much it was almost useless. 22 pounds worth of rifles alone.
