burpees

My "body weight" routine is progressing nicely. I can now do 4 sets of 20 burpees without feeling like I will fekkin' die.

Those are followed by:

4 sets of 25 "step onto weight lifting bench"

4 sets of 10 "v handle pullups"

4 sets 15/20 pushups: flat, incline, decline

4 sets 20/25 air squats

I need to make myself do burpees, but i have just always hated them so much, lol.

I love burpees! I always jump really high, it makes the burpee more intense. (2 foot in air instead of just jump off)

I think that burpees have made a huge impact on my fitness and weight loss. I combine a plyometric pushup in my burpees. Now I'm feeling a slight pain occasionally in my left shoulder and have to lay off them for a while before I cause some damage. I'm getting at that age where I have to be a little more careful to prevent injuries.

Maybe you want to make sure you did the right form of push ups. Keep your elbows close to your body.

Never had the good fortune of Burpees cuisine. Some how, a fast food joint with the name "Burp" right up front turns me away. Not sure why.
