Is It Safe to Delete Office 2007

I bought a new Dell laptop which was preloaded with Office Home and Student 2007. To make it work you have to buy it. OK I loaded Office 2003 and used it on all my PC's and happy with it. My question is can I delete 2007 without it affecting 2003 in anyway.
Thanks

A fully loaded pistol is useless to the man with an empty magazine between the ears.

You should be fine, if possible make an image of your machine just in case you need to restore.

Seriously? Make an image because he wants to uninstall Office?

If you've installed Office 07 and it is working like you want it to, just uninstall it.

I agree.
I've done that exactly as described!

Yeah, 15min is a huge pain isn't it! If by some slim chance something gets screwed up he'll have the ability to have it exactly like it was.

There is one way to find out. On the other hand, unless you need the disk space you could leave OHS2007 alone.
