Windows 8 Touchpad on Laptop

I recently purchased a Samsung laptop with Windows 8; and it is driving me crazy. The tap to click feature is far too sensitive. When I go to the touch pad/mouse driver in the control panel, there is no apparent way to adjust the sensitivity or disable the feature. I've tried Google for an answer with no luck. Many people just keep repeating the procedure that was used with earlier Window OS; but that just doesn't work with Windows 8.

Am I missing something? I find it hard to believe that MS would market a product without some means to correct such a problem.

Never mind guys. I found a solution. I downloaded a different touchpad driver from the Samsung support site. The new driver offers all the normal controls and settings by going through the control panel.

Yeah but you're still stuck with windows. Upgrade to Ubuntu and you'll be amazed at the speed and efficiency without being bogged down with windows.
