Obamacare is D.O.A. !
All Republicans voted against Obamacare.
Democrats didn't even have enough votes to pass it.
So they corruptly used reconciliation to pass it anyway.
Then corruptly called it a tax to ram it through the Supreme Court.
Besides, their is no way to fund Obamacare.
75% of the people in the U.S. have private insurance, and won't jump ship into Obama's communist healthcare system.
The other 25% have no money to buy Obamacare.
If Obama dramatically raises taxes to fund it, he kills the economy and Obamacare at the same time.
So, Obamacare is D.O.A. !

You may not need to. My insurance is remaining "as is", without very significant increase in rates.

Of course, my insurance through work is a grandfathered plan, which is all well and good...until they change something significantly enough to lose that status. Do you know if your plan is either compliant or grandfathered?

The other point is if the cost goes up significantly, causing your payment to increase significantly or your employer to decide to drop that benefit. Then it will matter to you.

It was made very clear at the outset that none of us would have to change if we did not desire it. This has been proven false for many people. While I hope my insurance does not change, I would not be surprise if it does at some point. I don't know about yours.

Wow. That's impressively depressing to see that you're that uninformed. I don't know how in the world you can think that with all that's been said about it for the past 3.5 years.

Obama administration has been a embarrassment to the whole world for 5 yrs now.
Big Goverment socialism is currently bankrupting England.
But this is the country democrats most point to, to praise national socialism.
Oh, and England's 1997 gun ban.
It's just been exposed as a huge failure at curbing gun violence and crime, which has greatly increased since the gun ban.
The British Goverment has just been exposed for covering up all of this for 16 yrs .

I see that there is reference to the ACA. What I was pointing out is there is no going "on Obamacare". It's still private insurance companies selling you policies, not the government.

I'd like to see some numbers justifying these price increases from the insurance companies, honestly. This smacks of the same nonsense when gas stations raise prices at the pumps the day that crude prices go up. They have an excuse to soak you for more money, regardless of whether their costs have actually gone up or not.

Luckily our insurance premiums did not go up, yet. Will they? Probably. Will they go up more than they otherwise would have if not for the ACA? Possibly. Will we still buy health insurance? You bet your ass we will.

Hopefully the exchanges will do their jobs and increase competition, thus lowering premiums eventually.

the reason for the increase in policy cost is from all the required conditions added by the ACA, as in maternity care(whether you need it or not) and any pre-existing conditions you may have.

the next step for Obama to sell this mess is to change the name from the Affordable Health Care Act, to simply the Hellth Care Act. Yes HELLth Care

As I said in the post you quoted, I'd like to see the numbers around the projected increase in expenses to the ins companies that justify these rate hikes.

My deductibles all went up 50 percent!!!! That's right 50 @&#@@ percent!!!!!!!
Doctor visit was $20.00, now $35.00. Specialist was $30.00 now $65.00!!!!!!

I guess ODUMMO CARE is easier than forcing these worthless slugs into becoming productive citizens so they could have what we have. As long as we are so stupid as to let out life's worth to be drained out of us by these worthless non-producers, it will not change. ALL elected officials need to go! Vote them ALL OUT!!!!

The train wreck is coming!! Are you ready for it???
