I'm moving to Iowa in December and doubt I will be willing to pay the $800 to come home and hunt elk.
So, I need to really put forth a good effort this fall and get an elk.
But, I didn't realize that I would be moving, so I haven't done any scouting. Now I'm too busy to really scour the woods and see where the herds are.
I may have to revert to what I consider slob hunting and use my ATV to cover lots of area.
I really would like to shoot a nice bull this season, just so I have a cool mount to hang on the wall in my new house in Iowa .

I'm getting a better job, a bigger house, and will be closer to my wife's family.
