The shiner bock is okay but the blonde has to go. I heard their winter brew is okay also.

BTW:I heard their tours are very great if you go the brewery.

I have drank Shiner for years... Shiner blonde is ok... the light is not good... the Octoberfest run wasn't bad and the winter brew was decent. The original is still my favorite.

Shiner Bock is where it is at, seeing how Shiner Kosmos is no longer made. Hats off to the brewery tour.

I used to work temp jobs. One of my jobs had me and a friend working for a week and a half in Shiner. We became regulars down at the brewery hospitality room. ^1

Man, even the waitresses at Flying Saucer knocked the Light! I ain't touching it. I love their Heffeweizen though, just the right mix of sweet and bitter. Pyramid is a little too sweet and the european wheats are a tad too bitter (Paulander and Frankischkaner for example, hard to spell as well). I liked the Blonde and the winter brew as well. Really need to make a trip out there someday...
