Aaaaahhhhh... Brings to mind one of my most favorite 90-Day Wonder stories.

Orlando AFB - 1967; three airmen 1-stripes walking out from the BX; Two gold-bars in 1505s with creases that would, well, they couldn't sit down...

I say to my fellow airmen, "Salute left handed...."

We held until the Lt's returned...

Just after we passed them, one said, "Did they salute with their left hands?"^8

"No," the other said. "They all saluted the same.";g

That was so much fun... ;f ;f ;f

Mine is the 2nd LT that we sent looking for a box of grid squares, an I-D-10T antenna and rechargeable Chem-Lites...he didn't come back until evening formation, and damned if he didn't have a box of cut-up map sheets and a really stupid expression on his face as he told the CO that he couldn't find the I-D-10T or the rechargeable Chem-Lite...
