I want a 44 mag lever something awfull, but my problem is that my arms are long. I know they are more or less a "bush" gun and are supposed to be short, but I have a 30 30 and put a slip on cushion but plate just so it would make the stock a little longer. I just don't like being squnched up when I shoot. Anybody know which brand, model 44 mag has the longest stock? Thanks.

They're probably all gonna be 'bout the same but here's 2 suggestions. Find out what the specs are on the Win. Traditional or Black Shadow,(I think they make a Black Shadow in 44),these have longer bbls. and may have longer LOP. If not Boyd's Gunstocks sell drop in and Fully inletted but unfinished stocks for most lever guns incl. the Savage 99, which is unusual, and they might even cut one a little long for you. Well I had the opposite problem,

I was looking to shorten the stock on my 94 for my son. But the wood was just too beautiful. Nurmrich Arms has some factory seconds real cheap. So I bought one and cut it down.

From their web site it looked like all the post 1964 model 94's use the same stock.

You could have a gunsmith fit an aftermarket recoil pad to give you some extra length.
