Any Army Aviators About?
Damn, BTMGlock, you're just a puppy. I was not an army aviator but I aviated a lot on Sikorsky H-19 and 21, and Oh-1. That was our air mail service, a long time ago. We hauled that mail a total of about 25 miles, from Kimpo AFB. What with the schedule, thae trucks would have been faster, but since it had an airmail stamp, it would by God fly, even if were only a few hundred feet. We had an old Beaver we used sometimes, but usually it was the rotary wing.

I'm a geezer compared to you. I flew UH-1H (while at Mother Rucker) and OH-58A/A+/C. I haven't been in a cockpit since May 1995 when I helped to shuttle three OH-58Cs from Groton, CT to New Orleans, LA. That was the best flight. I actually got to see the Statue of Liberty at eyeball level and most of the country at (500 feet or less).
I really miss flying.

Cav,
I can but dream to fly in one of those.
I am what you guys would call a Crew Chief, we call them Loadmasters.
I am lucky enough to have gotten some stick time on the Squirrel, Huey and Blackhawk.
Started flying in 1995 and will keep doing it for as long as the wife and Army will allow.
Would love to hear stories from your careers guys.
If it can't hover, don't bother!
