any HAM radio operators in here?

Like it says? Just wondering. I know a good bit of outdoorsmen are into amatauer radio. I'm new to it myself.. and if you would, i have started a thread in General Non-Glocking to start a HAM forum on GlockTalk, im up to 42 of 50.. any help is appreciated

yeah, and they work where most CB's, cell phones, etc... will not work
