Nice! I miss mine. I used to have one with a paratrooper stock. Had a KB with an old load and split the receiver. Sprayed me and three kids I had taken to the range in the face with shrapnel. Got spooked and sold it. Now wish I had just replaced the receiver. ;1

Enjoy it! They are super firearms!

Well I did'nt have it for long. ;g

I sold it off so I could buy an engagement ring for my girlfriend. (Now fiancee). ;f

The best part is she doesn't mind my gun hobby. She helped my pick out a nice gun safe and made sure it had enough room for her .35 Remington pump and Postal Meter M1 Carbine!

Sorry to hear about the loss but congratulations on the gain. Just keep the gain longer than you kept the loss!!! ;f

Besides, she would probably kill me if I tried to sell her! ;e

m1 carbine or a fiancee? hmm, it'd take me more than two weeks to make a conscious decision on that one.

Actually, Fulton Armory and Auto Ordnance make new M1 Carbines, just to name a couple.

So go ahead and get married.

I hate to raise a REALLY old topic, but I thought I would give an update on that M1 Carbine/Wife trade from way back in 2004.

It's coming up on our 5 year wedding anniversary for my wife and I.

I now have a real gun safe and plenty of firearms to fill it. The wife now has her own .22 handgun and rifle to go along with her M1 carbine and 35 Remington.

Her take on my gun buys... As long as the bills get paid, you can buy the toys.

She's a keeper!

I quite agree!

Now, how bout a picture of her holding or shooting the Underwood Carbine? Yeah, the carbine alone would be OK if she's shy.
