Sorry, dre, I didn't get the type of cut the barrel has. Try calling the Col. and inquire from him. Thanks.

Oo nga ser eh, kung di lang naka port yung barrel kinuha ko na. Unfortunately, a schuemann barrel here that requires a slide cut-out is very expensive, so 'di ko rin mabibili. Slow progress open gun ko. Nung una gusto ko comp na agad and run it sa 40cal. Now para'ng gusto ko na i-super...haay...decisions..decisions...;f

Ah, okay. So mapapa-schuemann ka pala talaga nyan. However, I've seen the work of Balolong on M. Cay and J. Sy's modified guns. Parang naka hybrid schuemann sila pero sleeve-type underneath a regular thin barrel, cost is about 6K. That's probably one option para magamit mo slide mo. Kaso Armscor 9mm slide is only about 3.4K. And that is probably a more practical alternative.
I-try mo na balak mo, para malaman natin kung pede... ;f hehe

I wish dre. I just pulled the image from EGW's site. ;f

True. In my last match, I walked away with 1 mike and a no-shoot despite the gun problems. A new record for me kasi usually the minimum for me is 6 mikes for a 4-stage match. ;f;f
However, with open kasi, the objective is no longer about hitting the targets (well, you should still be able to do so.) It's now more about refinements in your techniques with no or very minimal wasted motion. This pushes your performance a notch higher to be able to survive and be competitive. And I'm hoping it'll translate back to iron sights shooting. But I'm not sure that I'd be going back to iron sights anytime soon. hehe
