Good Things Happening

Hello friends. Things are going really great this week, found a house to rent that is being checked out and has to be approved before the boys and I can move in. Today, Dollar General called me for a job as a lead clerk for their store, not a great job, but i'll be very grateful for it. I'm almost there..

You know, the people who work at Dollar General here have been there for years. Must be a pretty good place to work. At least in this area.

Just hang in there! You are gonna make it

Stick it out

Just keep on moving forward. You're going to have your setbacks here and there but keep the goal in mind. I've had a hard 2 weeks myself (it is extremely hard for me to hear about my ex's trip to Aruba when I haven't had a vacation myself for almost 2 years).

Sounds like you're taking your time in finding a place to live, which is a very good idea. I've had a friend or two who lived in absolute rat holes because they were in such a hurry to get away from "him."

Jobs aren't easy to find these days either so it sounds like you're getting along okay if you found one this quickly.

Today is the day! They'll decide, if I can rent the house I've been looking at. Still haven't found the job, YET! Keep your fingers crossed.. Will post tonight on whether it came through or not..

The time has come to leave.. Tomorrow morning, I'll be packing up the boys and the things we own and head off to another life. I'm very sad and scared of the unknown. Please say a little prayer for us this week. I won't be returning to GT for a couple of weeks. Thank you girls for being there when I needed you.

I'll be praying for you.

If you can bop in here and let us know how you are doing, that would be great. You can usually get online in college and public libraries if there is either close

you'll be in my thoughts and prayers, too. i know how hard and scary this is but just remember, you'll look back at this one day and be so happy you made the choice you did.

definatly check in if you get the chance. it would be great to hear how things are going.

hmm, that's a good question. how do you think he's going to react? if there's a chance he might get violent i'd probably not tell him tonight. it's hard to say not really knowing your situation.

I see you got the house and decided to pack up. Focus on what it is that you have to do, set up a new place for yourself and move on. Keep reminding yourself that you've made a good long-term decision for yourself and your kids despite any little setbacks you might have. God will never close a door without opening a window.

Atta Girl!

You have it going now kiddo! Haven't been able to post or reply. They must not like me not owning a Glock!

The two most important things are out of the way. I know you can do the rest!
