Weeeeeell, it will probably feed more reliabily in 10MM than in .40. A lot of the guys shooting LTD.10 load their .40 ammo out to 10MM length for a 1911 platform. Closer to the length of a .45, so feeding geometry is fairly close.
but if necessary, I suppose you could slide just this ONE time, after all, you ARE a skilled DNA removal tech.

Unkle, this surprises me. If a 40 bullet is seated far enough out to meet 10mm or 45 OAL standards, would enough of the bullet be supported to ensure the bullet would not be pushed deeper in the casing during cycling?
