Yep.

Haven't stopped by the 8:40 PM thread for a while. I'm glad to see the continuation of a lively chatter about beer and other libations. Very much Taterhead approved. Never considered the pairing of beer and time travel. Much to consider. Much to consider.

I was at Deschutes brewpub in Bend, Oregon one evening with my fine bride. I was enjoying a few glasses of something on nitro tap. I wanted to keep drinking those precious glasses of mothership nectar, but I was limited by the fact that I was getting smashed. Could time travel be leveraged in some way to enable a perpetual state of consumption, without walking on one's lips? Hmmm.

I'll ponder and return. Cheers.

Good question. I am not bound to a "no profit" use of the time machine as Uncle is with the Tardis. While I don't get carried away with my worm hole generator, I will use it to win an occassional wager. There was one drinking contest in particular where, I would emerge from the restroom, refreshed and sober (and out of another future reality). To say that my opponent lost "the bet" is an understatement. Since he could not understand how someone half his size drank twice as much, he also lost his breakfast, lunch, dinner and a gallon of beer after trying to "keep up."

M D that's just poaching.......

The idea of time travel/consumption ability does have merit.
Might have to bounce that off engineer151515 just a bit; Perhaps do some personal "research" also.

As long as we meet Conservation of Mass requirements (cannot infinitely accumulate), Third Law of Thermodynamics (Entropy - you can't pee out a higher quality beer than you consumed) and you flush after you go . . . we most probably will not cause a time paradox that will destroy this universe.

In the event I am wrong, we'll just meet in the next universe and set up the NS / Slushie production line there.

Come to think of it, what happens when I consume in one time zone and evacuate in another.

Never mind, the creation of an amoeba paradox does not interest me.

Take the address off the list of the F-Tard census worker who showed up at my jobsite today. And accused me of living there, and telling me I could be in trouble for not being honest....

1000 pardon's Uncle. Please allow me to clarify.

1. Plenty of battery power available for Expert transport.

2. Infinite accumulation of wealth does not break any Universal Physical / Time Continuum property.

... and even if it DOES, the Dungeon Legal Staff would knock the offense down to a misdemeanor!

23%....? You would never make it in the White House!

Let me rephrase that. Unkle Albert for President... Time for a not so greedy Uncle in D.C.

That should read 23 and 3 thirds%! Why? I need a 1% cut of this action!

Actually, Unkle, that 23% skim is a considerable reduction from our usual 39% cut of the take. In fact, at the last Dungeon financial symposium, we tried to figure out WHY it was set so low! Our conclusion: illicit Dungeon participation in the 10-Ring Lagoon parties is warping our perception of reality. But then, if we restored the full 39% embezzlement rate, it would just mess up the continuity of the Dungeon Counting Operation each evening! We'll just drift along with the status quo, and see how things work out.
