Gov. Bobby Jindel being of Indian descent, the Indian people are know for spicy foods, maybe that's why he fits in to the culture here.
Coyote gumbo sounds OK, but may be a jambalaya would serve to please the palate and serve more people...

Uncle, if ever you're sitting down at the table with me eating fried shrimp or fried softshell crawfish, I would hope you would say...

anchovies only have 2 functions.....
1) Bait
2) Stinking up a pizza oven, making it unfit for future usage.

Question for discussion: Are anchovies a conspiracy to demean the 10-Ring party experience?

Chute, since you're not from the Midwest, you are excused for not knowing what smelt are.
Think of them as a fresh-water grunion

Hmmm ... sounds like the standard-issue space/time continuum rift syndrome. We'll set up logistics for the pre-party in time to catch the runover attendance of those who show up late.

I could eat my weight in deep fried anchovies right now!
Let's see....I have two cans of anchovies, and some good batter via my sourdough starter, and plenty of oil.
I'm going for it!
