I saw a post while reading real quick
It said to correct error with limerick
Well, VN350X10 has erred
Buy a 29, he declared
Yet I already have one you dick!

I don't mean to call you guys names
As I'm new to your underground games
Not much rhymed with limerick
Except maybe prick
Either way I'm sure to get flames

I bought a 21 to scratch one of those itches
To deal with hoes, pimps and snitches (wormhole made me a thug-ass rapper, sorry)
Once I got a ten
I'll not go back again
It's now clear .45s are for *****es!

But seriously (is that allowed here), I'm sorry I called you a dick VN350X10. I had to rhyme. My little phrase under my name says,"Until I GOT a 29". I'm guessing you thought it was GET.

He's a natural!

Scary. Is it possible that he's a secret plant from the 45 auto page. You know, sayin' all the right things, gettin' to know maybe a bit too much for a new guy? Just saying...

Why do I carry a 10mm?

The Dungeon Linguistics Unit will convene in Summary Plenipotentiary Tribunal session to consider the appropriateness of this "insult". The intriguing use of verb tense as a misdirection play weighs greatly in the insulter's favor; this means the adjudication sessions will be extended as we consider all aspects of the problem. I therefore suggest that the 10-Ringers continue their usual partying; we will keep you advised of any progress in resolving this issue.

Oh no! We are in danger of lapsing into some kind of pensive introspective outlook! This may be a crisis!

I offer this antidote: No matter how high, or exalted the throne, what sits on it's the same as your own! (Taken from a Chad Mitchell Trio album - precedes your saying by two decades, Suze. Your play.)

Be careful with the Borg Queen. She loves to cut and snip and replace body parts with her Borg implants (I have heard).

This rhyming shtick has reminded the Dungeon Linguistics Unit of a classic moment in the book "1984": An Outer Party functionary is thrown into prison because he could not replace the word "God" in a party-required revision of a pre-revolution poem. He laments: How much of the world's trouble can be traced back to the fact that the English language lacks words that rhyme with "God"!

I am in fact amused by the creativeness of the insult. I shall, in fact recomend that the Linguistics council perhaps bestow some sort of honor upon him for the effort.
Perhaps he will be honered by being given the priviledge of seagull-dung duty prior to the next Lagoon party !

Hello susan28, good to see you back my dear. If you hurry, perhaps you can catch up with Geesie & make it a joint shopping trip. She's already taking Mongo, as the poor man needs some R&R; He's been very busy helping uncle with the preperations(sp) for several of the upcoming summer's events, and quite frankly, is rather exhausted.

Do have a safe trip.

Although there are click, flick, and glick
As well as hick, kick, and lick
All limericks worth while
Are dirty and vile
Hence, I chose the word dick.

Certain limericks have achieved a measure of fame without being OVERTLY dirty and vile.

There was a young woman of Madras
who had a most beautiful @$$
Not round and pink
as you might think
but grey, with long ears, and eats grass!

I must investigate this further.......it appears that the lad might know me, or at least know OF me.

If he is capable of lifting my cover, he might require a visit from a couple of the "little friends" that still owe uncle a few "favors".....

(seagull-dung duty for life ?)

Uncle, as penance for my insult, I will gladly accept seagull dung-duty.

At the behest of the Dungeon governing bodies, I shall gladly provide receipts, bank statements, and other such documents to prove my disloyalty to the .45ACP. Said documents will clearly show I have not purchased any items (bullets, brass, powder) that would be indicative of use of lesser calibers, at least since I bought the G29.

Studying the avatar closely, and looking at the locale, I may have mis-read "gotta" as "gotsa", hence the confusion.
The linguistics of the South, such as they are, can be confusing to those of us from the frozen northlands.

Does the phrase "Punt 'Bama, Punt" mean anything to you ?

I don't remember that phrase, it may have been before my time, although I am a HUGE Bama fan. All I remember is Bama stomping the everliving crap out of Michigan State (that usually happens against non-SEC northern teams). My avatar would have said "Until I got a 29", but I ran out of space, hence "gota".
