And if you never mow the lawn, you will never know it is there in the front yard.

... And if the neighbors complain about the grass, you can simply claim you have established a Tactical Training Area!

The 65 Chrysler Imperial; one of the few cars to be officially banned from demolition derbys. You can't kill them. Their owners just get tired of buying gas for them (and mowing their lawns apparently).

Listen up, you cantankerous 10-Ringers! (pardon my redundancy) Indy's own Peyton Manning has demonstrated con-man credentials worthy of Dungeon/Penthouse ... whoops! ... Penthouse/Dungeon membership. (Pardon my breach of protocol)

The NFL has begun running baseline mental comparison tests for diagnosing concussion injuries. The baseline tests are used as a comparison to the same tests run after a possible on-field concussion during a game. If the comparison shows any mental degredation, the player is not allowed back in the game.

Peyton has just admitted he tanks the baseline tests! He stated "After a concussion, you take the same test, and if you do worse than you did on the first test, you can't play. So I just try to do badly on the first test."

This is conduct worthy of the highest 10-Ring tradition!

Aye! Well Played, Sir!

Just don't join a handicap bowling league with him, he'd be one of those sandbag queens..

And to think all this time that the stereotype, "dumb jock" was just a ruse.

I've been throwing in with those krazy (pmr) BMWCCA types lately, in process of installing Twin Screw supercharger in my time machine and new clutch to handle additional transdimensional load.. it always comes down to the bearings!

The 10-Ring will achieve a sober quorum before Bret finally retires!

Truthfully, I'm putting my money on Favre retiring long before this motley crew is simultaneously sober.

I guess it is possible that the 10-Ringers could, if the stars were properly aligned, all simultaneously be "sleeping it off." In a sense it would result in the hypothetical sober 10-Ring quorum about which you prognosticated.

A postscript to the Peyton Manning story I posted on the last page:

24 hours after the initial story hit the press, Peyton said he was making a joke about tanking the baseline concussion mental testing. Whether he was truly sincere about this "admission" I leave to the judgement of the public.

Several advisors to U.S. presidents tell variations of this one-liner: Even when a President cracks a joke, he is still saying SOMETHING!

Unfortunately they use words that rhyme with "bazillion."
