I have a question that requires (it will be self evident why) a prompt response. Since there is no other place on the Forum, it seems, to inquire and, since 10-ringers have a good amount of experince with different forms of liquid libations, this seems like the best place to get a reliable answer with some alacrity. Here goes.
"Are "Rockstar" energy drinks supposed to be "chunky"?"

Back in the old days, in Portland Oregon was a bar called "Ericksons". It had the longest bar in the US. Part of it still exists in a trendy upscale dinery. Anyway, it was a crossroads for many cultures.
"Oyster Shooters" had just been invented and caught on well, when one day a big burly sailor came into Ericksons. Stepping up to the bar he looked to his right to see an Indian with his face down on the bar, apparently passed out. In front of the hapless Native was an oyster shooter. Seizing the opportunity, the sailor grabbed the shooter and downed it in one smooth motion and set the glass down in front of the Indian quietly. I drinkrobbed Indian surprised the the sailor by slowly looking at the glass and then at the sailor, he then jumped up and began pumping the sailor's hand vigorously.
"Ugh, you be one heck of a man. Me try'um three time, no get that oyster down."

The Dungeon Historical Research Division is proud to announce the results of a project that, we are sure, will bring honor and glory to the perverted 10-Ring organization (pardon my redundancy):
Research of historical records has conclusively demonstrated that the young man from Kent, dissatisfied with the restrictive British societal norms of his country of birth, emigrated to the New World, eventually settling and building a prosperous life in the colonial town of Nantucket.
We believe the 10-Ringers will be amused when we note that NO 10-Ring funds WHATSOEVER, embezzled or otherwise, were expended for this project. We managed to snag a Federal grant from, of all places, the Department of Energy. Damn, we're good!

I am exceedingly pleased to see such a remarkable bit of research. while I would be delighted to see that it gets the attention it richly deserves, such as submission for a Nobel Prize, i feel this would cause to much scrutiny of 10-ring activities, therefore this (I feel) must reamin one of those instances of "great knowledge to have, for those who know it, but best kept out of the hands of those who don't"

Nomination for a Nobel Prize, while admittedly being a great honor, would be at variance from the focus of the 10-Ring state of being. The cheapskates behind the prizes have recently reduced the payout for each prize to a measly million dollars, down considerably from the two million from some years ago. The payment for actually winning creates all kinds of audit trail problems, what with all the publicity that comes along with winning the damn thing. Besides, while the science prizes take quality work to win, the Nobel Peace Prize has become a big ol' political football that goes to whoever attracts the favor of the political-cause-of-the-month crowd.
We're better off with our standard-issue ripoffs ... whoops! ... I mean, our creative investment efforts ... rather than going for high-profile assets. We also act in accordance with the operational philosophy of: If you don't already know, you don't deserve to be told.

I think your memory is correct. I seem to remember someone running around always surrounded by Gruppen... ies. (Pardon my labored pun attempt)

In this instance, I will follow your advice.
My horrible pun was caused by mental exhaustion induced by an administrative error. I had decided to relax by inbibing a '61 Lafitte Rothschild, but due to an admin slip I was served a bottle of that '62 swill we keep around to suck up to T***'s demented preferences (pardon my redundancy). That error sorta blew away my entire evening.

We got a little on the South end of the Lagoon, too. The heat is down a bit, but most of the raucous inebriated debauched 10-Ring revelers are still doing their RIDR thing down in the underground range. Can't really blame them.
