I need some sort of recording device that can record 24hrs loop, for example, for use with my new security camera. Does anyone have any experience with these?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Do you mean for your computer or something like a VCR? They make special VCRs for security recording. They can record 24 hours on a normal T-120 tape. When the tape reaches the end it automatically rewinds and starts over.

You can try somewhere like Sam's for the security VCR. My dad bought a whole kit there for his office. It can record from a single camera or multiple cameras in a quad-view. It has different quality settings, and at the lowest setting will record 24 hours on a normal VHS tape (I think the other setting is 18 hours). Works pretty well.
