NORINCO Makarov .380 clone
Guys, whats your take on NORINCO's copy of the Makarov .380 quality and performance wise?

I have no experience with the weapon.
However, I was told (on another forum) that is was worth buying more for its rarity, to round out a Mak collection, than any functional merit: of course, the opinion was coming from the U.S., where Norinco products are banned from import, and the price commanded by a Chinese Mak can be surprising there.

if you are a collector I think it is worthwhile to have one. these .380 blowbacks are a study of simplicity. very handy to have in the house

I have never seen a Norinco Mak in the US.
But I have three Makarovs - two Russian and one
East German, all in 9 Makarov caliber, which is
very easy to find here in the US.
The East German is clearly the more beautiful weapon
but the trigger is heavy and the accuracy is not as
good.
The Russian Maks I own are of superb accuracy. They
are capable of printing 1.5 inch groups at 25 yards
offhand. The sights are also very good.
The 9 Makarov ammo is a tad more powerful than the .380
but less than the 9mm Luger.

Give Shooters Arms Manufacturing a call.
I could have sworn I saw one at the last Gun Show.
Then again I swear [u]a lot[u], so, well...

Highly recommended yan pare. Nakabili ako nang Bulgarian mak na .380 , hindi ko pa nasubukan, ang Russian ko ay 9 x 18 makarov caliber and its quite accurate at 25 yds. Ginagamit sa mga KGB ito dati. Isa sa mga affordable na small pistols . Very reliable at all steel din.

We imported a few units nitong Makarov 380 for test and evaluation but we did not order more. We may do so soon pero no plans at the moment.

Ang gusto ko sa makarov ay ang classic look . Goes back to the Cold War era. Tataluhin din ang walther ppk kong reliability man lang pag usapan. Ang ano lang is the mag release button nasa heel, german inspired. Ok na rin practice lang,
