Hi Y'all, my name is John, I live in Bradenton, Fl about 40 miles south of Tampa.
I'm a rare Florida native lived here all my 68 years except for the 31 years I spent as a member of the United States Navy. During those 31 years I managed to spent about 20 of them stationed in various places around Florida. Of course there were a couple of trips to Nam in between but that's a whole other thread. ;f
Florida Glockers seems like a natural for me.
Y'all come back now, ya heah.

GREETINGS....
My name is Ted and I live in Deerfield Beach. ;f
I've owned a Colt 1911 of some sort ever since 1970. Usually, I have more than one. Right now, I own 5. I own one Glock. It's a two-tone model 19 with various bells and whistles. Five 1911s and one Glock... I carry the Glock 24/7. It took me 30+ years to realize it, but that 19 is the finest battle pistol I've ever owned.

Hectic! There's studying, finding a job, trying to get a housemate, trying to sell the motorcycle, becoming part of a fraternity, trying to meet some nice women, more studying mixed in, pulling out loans, stressing about the financial stuff, attempting to avoid the rain, thinking about working out so I stand a chance at meeting good-looking AND nice women, etc etc.
But I'm sure that is nothing next to having 6 kids...

In retrospect, the years I spent going to school at U.F., and poor as a church mouse, were some of the best in my life.

Yeah, I've heard of it. It's west of Niceville. "Nice town, nice folks, have a nice day".

Wouldn't consider them 'best', but the most accessible is DelRay Shooting Center off of Linton in DelRay and Palm Beach Shooting Center off of 10th Ave in Lake Worth (north of DelRay). Both have good indoor ranges. Although DelRay has a rifle range. Palm Beach doesn't. Their gun\accessory prices are higher than anywhere I've ever seen, but that's just South FL for ya'. I prefer Palm Beach just 'cos it's closer to where I live.
If you're willing to drive, Markham Park is an outdoor range that people seem to like.
Firearms Plus in Fort Lauderdale has pretty good prices 'cos they don't have a range. They have a good used selection also.

Rappa29,
Thanks for the info. Actually, I have a membership to the Delray Shooting Center range. Unfortunately, there pistola prices are HIGH!
I just wanted to know if there was a better place to shop in Palm Beach Co.

I hear ya'! Depending on what you're looking for, you might want to take a drive and check out Palm Beach Shooting Center in Lake Worth. It used to be owned by the same guy who owns DelRay, but he sold it a few years ago. They have decent used selection and for Palm Beach Co., their Glock prices are pretty good (although their prices for everything else are high).
There's Rays Guns in West Palm, but I've never been there, so I don't know what their prices are like. Gator Guns in WPB off Okechobee. Their selection isn't that great. Trail Guns on Military Trail in Lantana. Never been here either.
Unfortunately, most of the shops down here have prices that are significantly higher than I've seen on the west coast (Pinellas County) or online.

I agree that delray shooting center off of linton is one of the best gun store around. Their range is lacking but still decent. The second best closed and I can't remember the name but it was on copans just west of I95.
By the way my name is Noway and I live in Boward and Dade county. I'm a Texas transplant, but my mother and her family is from Miami and Texas will always my home.

Are you talking about Revere Gun range? I was just told to call them about some gunsmithing for my 1911.
Another gunshop down here in Ft. Lauderdale is Guns & Knives. They have a four lane range. Like Delray, the prices are pretty high, but the selection is awesome and the service is great.
I will vouch for Firearms Plus as well. I have bought my last two guns there. Great prices on the used stuff.

Hey everyone, I was born and lived in Daytona Beach until I joined the Army in '96. I'm stationed at Ft Stewart now. My Grandparents are still in Daytona, my Mom is moored in Vero and my sister is docked in Miami. Both live on sailboats. My girlfriend lives in Orlando, so I make it down to Florida quite a bit. I was planning on coming down for the Labor Day weekend but with a hurricanado coming I think I'll stay in Georgia.
