Need comments on load

hi,

I was wondering if you guys can comment on my load for my 9mm

124gr Golddot
Speer once-fired nickel plated brass
5.6gr of VV N340
AOL of 1.142"
around 1200fps

Is it still safe to use considering that the brass is once-fired?

Thanks

Dale Rhea uses VV320 with same bullet weight.

Don't know what powder charge but he said just
enough to make minor PF.

I visually inspect ALL once-fired Glock brass
and throw away anything that looks like a skirt.

According to the VV loading data... maximum weight of the powder for that head is 5.8gr... Im worried because the brass i used was a once-fired nickel plated brass.

But I made sure it wasn't fired in a glock pistol

i shoot once fired brass up to four times no problems with it just inspect them when you case gauge pag may sablay..a trusty bullet puller will do...hodgdon also said the max to use on a 200g bullet for a 40SW is 3.8 i load mine up to 4.5 before of course to avoid pressure hinabaan ko oal ko.i used n340 on the 40 also its also good stuff kaso mas marami kailangan na powder than 320..just always check for pressure signs and make sure your not blasting your primers off..load safely

that is a lot of powder, wonder what the primer looks like after you fore your loads. I would check again and be very careful.

that's standard vihtavuori load data for the N340 powder.

I sometimes use ammo loaded with 5.3gr N340 with 124gr FMJ heads and OAL=1.142 in. It chrono's around 1050-1100 fps out my pistol.

Bigat siguro ng recoil nyan.. Last time nag N340 ako sa 40cal, yung recoil ng 150+PF ko sing lakas na nung 175+PF loads using N320.

I would think the 9 will also benefit from a fast powder like the 40 does. How about N320?

mc_o: that's true. Pag n340 powder gamit ko, the slide action is slower and muzzle rise seems higher. nawawala tuloy tiempo ko pagkalabit.

Here's a link for Timing drills
