Dragonlance fans?

Any other Dragonlance fans here?

I started back in high school, after being a pretty big D&D player in middle school. My buddy Bryan bought the Chronicles and we got hooked.

My collection spans a lot of the older stuff (dwarf/elf trilogies, most of the Majere brothers stuff and some of the newer books). I see that TSR sold the copyright to Wizards of the Coast, and they're reprinting a lot of the old classics.

I'm currently reading The Search For Power, which is a collection of short stories from the War of Souls. To be honest it's not that good. Unlike some of the other short story compendiums, these stories just don't seem to catch my interest.

I've yet to get into the Minotaur War series ... anyone know if it's any good?

I like some of them (especially the first four) but not all of them.

TSR didn't sell the copyright to Wizards of the Coast, TSR itself was sold to Wizards of the Coast. WoC was then bought by Hasbro, which eliminated TSR as a division. Now everything is published under the WoC imprint.

I was into that level of book when I was a teen, but they just can't hold my interest compared to Martin, Keyes, Moorcock, and Howard. The plots are just too cartoonish. But they are the starting point for new writers so I am glad the books are out there.
