Source for leather gear
Hi all,
I just passed my MSF safety course and got my completion card. I was looking for a source of leathers (over-pants, jacket (preferably with a reflective back)) and gloves for a good price. This is kinda a treat to myself for passing the course and also to keep safety fresh in my mind. If anyone has any recommendations, preferably from a company you've done business with or know someone who has successfully used them, please let me know.
Thanks
-jpa

They're like what NewEnough used to be, used gear in good shape for good prices. I personally know both the gal who started this company and the guy who has it now (used to race against him at Summit Point).
Past that, the always present ebay.

I know it is too late to make it this year, but if you are looking for a good deal on biker type leather, jackets, chaps and the like, you should go to sturgis during the rally. There are so many leather vendors, if you shop around, you can get a pretty good deal on leather. I went in 97 and I got a lined black leather biker jacket for 100 bucks, it ain't fancy, the liner won't zip out so it is sort of a winter jacket, but it is excellent bull hide road rash insurance. I picked up some chaps and a vest for the money as well, good deals all the way around.
