SPS
Last July a co-member at BPSC offered his second hand SPS for 55T php , physically didnt see the unit but turned down the offer coz i dont have the money at the time.
Did some surfing Re: SPS if i'm not mistaken this piece of work is from spain and the official distributor in PI is PB Dionisio.
What can you say about the SPS? is it the same caliber/standard as STI,SVI and Limcat.
thanks

its a copy of the S_I so it can't be sold in the US.
Sayang yung 55k. Judge got his pre-owned SPS for 90k last August!
I read in the BE Forums that the SPS and SVI grips interchange.
All other parts for the S_I are compatible

Julianz,
At 55T murang mura na. Kung naipost mo sa BOG baka nabili yon maski 60T, kumita ka pa.;f I for one would be interested at that price. OK yang SPS, maraming gumagamit na shooter parang STI/SVI ang dating.

Just a reminder my freinds, kaunting ingat lang sa pag-bili ng S_I or SPS dyan sa atin. I've seen several fakes out there last December when I was there. One copy that I saw was reversed engineered from a costomer's pistol (hint). Pulido ang trabaho and the materials are made from 4140 steel and the guy was asking 20,000Php for the frame.

Paltik45: 20K! ang mahal pala nang gusto! Meron nag-aalok dati 15k naman. Gawa sa Malabon raw!
Pati SPS pini-fake rin so if you're getting a pre-owned SPS, verify the Serial No. with PB Dionisio

Is this a reliable way of figuring out if the unit is genuine? Paano kapag pati serial numbers ginaya? I'm having second thoughts on a Wilson being offered at 42T baka kasi pineke lahat.;g

No, it's not a guarantee. Kung pineke pati SN, i-verify mo pa rin name ng orig owner sa PB and tell them bec. you're being offered a 2nd hand SPS. Its your right to know kung orig or stolen yung item.

After a few months, ayaw bumagsak hammer pag kinalabit trigger. Kala namin nag-ti-trigger freeze lang siya. Nang binuksan yung loob, meron gatla sa hammer and sear hooks! Yun pala, ang ginamit na mga S_I parts e peke!

sps
Thank you very guys for all your opinions.
A shooter friend of mine from Pulilan shooters has warned me also about the fake parts, and boomers roaming around the islands and to tell you frankly that is also 1 reason why i didnt get that sps offered to me (pwede namang ipangutang kung gusto)so i end up getting a jericho which is a great pistol by the way.
Another reason as a newby never heared sa akin ang SPS.
For Doc EC you are right : i have read resently in SPS web page that majority of SPS part are interchangable with STI and SVI.
at 55K good deal nga yung offer then again di ko masyado kabisado kalikaw ng 1911/ clones.
However i sent an email to the gentlemen who offered the SPS , asking him if it is still available for grabs ..and for the BOG's interested i would also suggest to test the pistol and check with PB D kung hindi gawa sa likod ng bakuran
;f ;f

i bought the pistol last july , after 100 rounds break in i join a local club shoot using reloads, very accurate , hits the target where i point it di man ako nakapasok sa finals di naman ako nagmukhang tanga compared sa mga veterans na nakasabay ko.
16 + 1 rounds capacity and as far as i know parts are not a problem sa magnificent di ba sir HermoGut.

i saw an S_I clone in Manila Shooters gun Club near the US embassy. It also uses a grip with an "H&H" brand. They are selling the grip for P 6 thou and told me it also fits the S_I pistols. Anybody ever tried it or any thoughts?
