Anyone else prefer real strategy to the tactical RTS?

I haven't played that one, but it reminded me of Panzer General. It's a bit old, but fun to play.

When I was younger, and basically before computers were so common, I used to play Avalon Hill games all the time (it was hard finding pre-teen friends who could understand those games).

Never played that one. Do enjoy the Combat Mission strategy games.
